This is a clipping taken from The Himalayan Times, 13th of May 2008, Tuesday. No matter how much we try to change the world, we cannot change it unless these young minds are nurtured with love. They have also learned to protest for every thing thats dissatisfying to them. Is this the way our country will be running?

Khushbu, yeah this frustrates me as well as to you, and more than likely, to all Nepalese who are helplessly witnessing their children protest for reasons so meagre. In this case however, I can't even imagine how reckless the government had been as to not being able to provide enough textbooks to the students! It's a shame.
And we all have to accept all these because this is the way things work in Nepal. Unless tyres are burnt, unless there's chakka jam, unless some vehicles are burnt, no body will hear our voice, no body will even care... Yeah we should make creative efforts to aware and warn the government and concerned authority but how? And the easiest escape is protest, shout slogans...be violent, trouble others, isn't it?
Anyways, let's hope that the day won't come when every single person in Nepal will have to open a something like 'poo independence forum' and declare a Nepal bandh because I have been rejected a job or something like that!!
And yes Khushbu, I think, at least this is the way our country will be running, at least for a time-being!
Thank u so much Poonam....yeah i agree this is the common problem of all and i appreciate ur concern as well...but just as you,i too hope that we can see a brighter future sans bandhs in the days to come (it will take some time of course!!!)
